1. Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
As much as it sounds cliche, I always wanted to be involved in a helping profession. Physiotherapy was also challenging and that made it even more rewarding.
2. What do you like about working at CURA?
By far the best part of the clinic is the team environment, the collective knowledge base, and skill set of the clinic. I also love that the patients are put first from the clinic’s philosophy of treatment to private rooms and 30 minute appointments for treatment. Most of all we have great patients!!
3. What brings you joy? What inspires you?
Definitely spending time with my family and friends, even better if it is at the lake or near an ocean. I love to travel and get outside walking or running. I am inspired by people that make the world a better place.
4. What have you done to manage the pandemic?
We have spent many hours exploring the Edmonton river valley. The pandemic has been a bit of a bonus for me as my teens and young adults actually had to spend time with their family, although they may disagree. We have tested many new recipes, probably played too many board games, and hiked more than the last 10 years combined. I also survived a year of basement renovations with 6 adults sharing 3 bedrooms, 1 bath and 1 shower.
