A graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1991, Traci Belyk went into physical therapy after first serving as a nurse in the area of general medicine in Saskatchewan. As a physical therapist, she worked mainly in private practice with the latter part of her career focusing in the field of women’s pelvic health.
More recently, her practice has focused on Rehabilitative Ultrasonic Imaging and Laser Therapy. She also teaches an education session regarding bladder and bowel health/function. Continuing education remains an important part of her practice.
When she is not working, the married mom has a busy life with three children for whom she plays a supportive role in getting them to hockey, volleyball and other sports. She has a great network of friends and family to help her keep life balanced.
