Inclusivity at CURA

Everyone is welcome

At CURA we pride ourselves in giving our patients the best care through dedicated and continuous learning.

This means that you, our patients, can experience the difference in care we offer. We have expanded our skills to support the 2SLGBTQIA+ family and those going through transition.

A physiotherapist, specifically a pelvic health physiotherapist, can help you along your transition through pre and post-operative appointments to ensure you have the best possible outcomes.  We will work with you, to find ways and solutions for common problems that can occur whilst going through transition.  The treatment and programs will be tailored by the physiotherapist for your specific needs.  We will collaborate with your medical team to ensure continuity of care.

As treatment and surgeries to support transition are changing at a rapid rate, we are developing relationships with transition teams and surgeons in Edmonton, Canada and across North America so that we are up to date. Physiotherapists at CURA are well versed in the WPATH Standards of Care to make sure your journey conforms to the highest standards. We hope you choose CURA as the place to receive treatment.  You will truly experience the difference physiotherapy at CURA can make.
