1. Why did you become a physio?
I initially went into kinesiology because I loved learning about health and exercise. After working in a rehab center, I saw the impact physiotherapy could have on someone's life and I knew this was the career for me. I also love helping people and teaching.
2. What do you like about working at CURA?
I love how collaborative everyone is. There are hundreds of years of experience under this roof and everyone is willing to share their knowledge. I also enjoy the holistic approach of the other physios here. The staff is super friendly and caring.
3. What brings you joy? What inspires you?
Whether it is exercises, how the body works, ergonomics, how to tie a proper knot, I love teaching. I want to be the best version of myself. The learning will never stop because there is always new information and skills to incorporate into practice.
4. What have you done to manage the pandemic?
I have found online versions of board games that I enjoy. I started playing a lot more guitar. Finding things to look forward to has been a challenge, so I started creating my own online trivia to host for my friends.
